Not sure what to say?

The boys and Duke

I only found out today in the Duke School of Nursing journal of Tony's death. Though I have not seen him in many years, I am truly sorry for the loss to family and to the nursing profession. We attended Duke together at a time when men in nursing was a far more uncommon profession than today. I will remember him as a caring and kind man with a great sense of humor. The world simply needs more people like him.

I learned today of his passing. Tony was one of the best--if not the best--instructors in the Duke MSN program. I haven't seen him in 15 years, but I will always remember his kindness and passion.

Not sure why I decided to look you up to see where you were. Just thought about you today and had not spoken to you for several years.

I remember meeting up with you at the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care Conferences and once when you lived in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

I will see you on the other side.

Steve

I just learned today, June 6, 2018 of Tony's having passed on. My condolences to all of you who knew him. RIP, Tony.

I didn't know. Tears and fond remembrance of Tony Graybeard at the Bahama camp.

My dear friend may God be pleased with you and reward you for all the great work you've done. Gone but never forgotten.

My heart goes out to the family of Tony A. and to Tony H. Heaven's gain is our loss. Tony personified grace. His warmth and smile will forever be with me. I am blessed to have known this kind gentleman.

Tony at an Astellas Meeting

I will never forget Tony's warm and kind nature and his unrelenting positivity. To know Tony was to love him. He was a gentle, sensitive, and empathetic man with a great sense of humor and many interests. Despite his illness, he always smiled and made others feel welcome, at ease, and important. I'll miss you Tony. My sincere condolences to his husband Tony and his family.
Warmest regards,
Rob Cohen
