Tony; You ran this city with a iron fist. Under the direction of you, Earl P. Sanquest there wasn't a tax raise for 10 years. Many people owe you a thankyou for the job you help them get. Many People who hold a state or city office have you to thank. You cleaned house at H.G.B.B. when needed from time to time. You was a fair man. Tony Almeida was one of the best councilmen in the history of East Providence. He was a great friend of my father's as he was to all who knew him. Rest in peace.

My sympathy goes out to Tony's family. He was a great friend, and will be missed.
