I have profound and lasting memories of Tony when we frequently car pooled up to West Point as cadets in the mid to late 70s. Great and warm personality. Always upbeat and positive and on more than one occasion proudly bragged (in a good way) of his beautiful sisters Karen, Carol and Christine. My heart truly goes out to the entire Alt family. First class people all the way and consider myself very fortunate to have known all of them.

Our family would like to extend their deepest sympathies. Our daughter Elizabeth attends school with Anthony and often speaks of how smart and funny he is! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Tony rode the LIRR with me and we played cards together until he could not make the 5:22 Train when his schedule changed. I wish to express my greatest sympathy to the Alt Family for your loss. I knew him to be a good family man and during the course of rides home together he often spoke about his family always in a respectful and dignified manner. One again I wish to express my deepest sympathy for your loss and we will miss him...

I honestly do not know what to say except that my heart is breaking for you. I will never forget our visit to your home for Michaela's birthday. It was a very hard time for us but Tony made us feel right at home. He showed us around the house and made sure we saw the kids pictures downstairs. He was so proud of his beautiful family. He also made a great Sangria. He will always be in our hearts. We think about you guys so much and you will always be part of our family. Although we have not...
