ANASTASI, ANTHONY N., "Uncle Tony" 72, of Providence, passed away April 6, 2017 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. Born in Providence a son of the late Nicholas and Maria G. (Capuano) Anastasi. Mr Anastasi was a porter at St. Elizabeth's Manor in Bristol before retiring. He was the beloved brother of Joyce A. Ryan and her husband Dennis W.Ryan Sr., loving uncle of Patrick M. Ryan and his wife Brenda, Dennis W.Ryan Jr. and Mary Ryan Gill and her husband Brendan. His funeral is WEDNESDAY at 8:45 a.m. from ''WOODLAWN'' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery VISITATION TUESDAY 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care R.I. 1085 No. Main St. Providence R.I. 02904. I dated Anthony years ago..He was a very nice person and a gentleman..May GOD greet him at the gates of heaven, where there will be eternal happiness..
