Not sure what to say?

Please accept my hearfelt sympathies as the Athanas family and their restaurants have been a part and hingepin of the fiber of my families existance for over 50 years. Graduations, confirmations, wedding parties, and all, engagements, held at the north Shore places. I am personally sorry that Louis was not here to have been of assistance as he was so many years ago. My sympathies to the family. From the Strauss',Mary and Alex (deceased),David & Richard and families remaining with your sorrow for...

May you rest in peace, as a true American. Thank you for all the memories of popovers and glover salads. You put me in a foofy hat and a frilly apron, taught me the difference between boulibaisse and sashimi and I sent myself through engineering school. Thank you, respectfully, CM

Remembering back to the 80's when I worked at Pier 4 to put myself through college... The Pier was an amazing, bustling place to a girl from NH, and Mr. Athanas built it from the ground up; he gave anyone the opportunity to cut it. His dining room was a successful flurry of chaos. Sir, I salute you with my clean golden sidetowel, rest in peace.

Pier 4 was a part of Anthony's life along with his family and everyone one else. Thank for your sharing his talent. My sympany extends to everyone in your family.

Old Neighbor of Anthony's neice Loretta Kelly.

Family:
I am out of the country but my deepest sympathies are extended to the entire family. My son Randy will be present at the service but please know that you will be in my heart and thoughts on Wednesday. Your dad was the best of the best. May God grant you strength at this time of loss.

My deepest thoughts are with you, I honored and respected you Dad, as a great man, leader of the Albanian community, and for the days I worked for him as a young man at the pier. Words of any length can never say enough.
Mike Ligor

Mr. Athanas was a wonderful and close friend of my father, Gus Aslanis who passed away in 2000. We will never forget his kindness and smile. My father valued his friendship of which they had for many years.
Our heartfelt sympathy for your family.
Sincerely Diana Bradley and family
