Anthony W. Augustino, 65
Anthony W. Augustino, 65, Wexford, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at UPMC Passavant, Pittsburgh.
He was born November 1, 1948, in Camden, New Jersey, a son of John P. and Charlotte H. (Bremble) Augustino.
On October 18, 1969, in Pauls Boro, New Jersey, he married Barbara F. (Martz) Augustino, who survives.
He was a member of St. John?s Lutheran Church in McCandless.
Anthony enjoyed woodworking, gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, and coaching little league.
He was a Colonel in the United States Marine Corps for 30 years.
He worked for U.S. Steel for 30 years as the Manager of Purchasing for U.S. Steel and U.S. Steel-Kosice, Slovakia.
In addition to his wife, surviving relatives include his mother, Charlotte H. Augustino; three children, Anthony J. Augustino and wife Laura of Schererville, IN, Jason W. Augustino and wife Adrienne of Fulton, MD, and Ciara F. Regan and husband Keith of Fayetteville, NY; five grandchildren, Nathan and Nicholas Augustino, Lillian and Emma Augustino, and Mitchell Regan; two brothers, Bruce Augustino and Gary Augustino; and three sisters, Charlotte Bruzek, Judy Gelfand, and Nancy Dickerson.
He was preceded in death by his father, John P. Augustino, and a brother John J. Augustino.
Friends will be received from 11 to 1 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Steingass officiating.
Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Ringgold.
Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Mr. Augustino, to the USMC Scholarship Fund or to the American Heart Association.

We were both Italian's from N.J. and were wrestlers, so we bonded immediately. Later we became even better friends and became roommates and Theta Chi fraternity brothers…….. I'll miss not seeing you again, Augie.
