Dearest Gail, Philmore, and Joyce Austin Scott,

I just learned of Anthony's passing today. I am still in shock. Rest assured had I known, Mother (Bernice Stewart Laley), Butchie (Andrew F. Stewart) and I would have been there. I need not remind you that Tony and I go back to Robert L. Vann school. We graduated from there and Schenley High School together. Know that your family remains in our prayers.

May God continue to hold you in His unchanging hand.
