Hi Jean, it's Mary Cusack. Was so sorry to hear of your loss. It's been a long time and I think of you and all the Callahan's often with love. You were all such a big part of my younger years. Would love to catch up sometime. Peace and love always. Mary Sivore Cusack

To John Gearen and family Deepest condolences on the loss of your brother-in-law. May he rest in the Lord's eternal peace.

I remember a touch football game with Tony and the Gearen clan on Tday back in the mid- 80´s, quite bothered that someone 4 years younger could out maneuver me so easily... many years later I ran into Tony buying some wine at Binney´s and mentioned my upcoming retirement, he said to let him know when the date came he would buy me a bottle of wine... sadly I never got the chance...he was one of the best people I got the opportunity to meet. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his great...

I remember Tony as an example of how a person ought to be. He was loving, kind and compassionate. He was a wonderful physician. Most of all he was a good friend to all. I remember Tony at many Gearen events and I especially remember how proud Tony seemed to be to be married to Jean. My sincere condolences to the Barbato/Gearen family on the loss of their dear Tony. He was a stellar person. With love, Robin Wilkie

To the Barbato Family, Please accept my profound condolences for loss of Dr. Barbato. I worked with him and for him for many years as a nurse and nursing administrator at LUMC. He was an exemplar for Medical Leadership, a kind and professional giant. He always put patients first, and led and taught as a servant leader. He inspired me and so many others. I share in your sorrow.

Dear Barbato family- It was a great sadness to hear of the passing of Dr. Barbato. Loyola University Medical center was a better place because of and under the leadership of Dr. Barbato. God bless you all in your grief and grant you peace in the happy memories that you share of your husband, father and grandfather.
