Not sure what to say?

Crazy to think it has been this long already. Still cannot thank you enough for all the advise and mentorship.

Jerri: I am so sorry to hear about the accident and the death of Tony. I am Barbara Glasscock who worked with Tony at General Telephone while you all were in Cookeville. My husband Butch and I came to your home when Shanon was just a little girl to see a truck Tony had purchsed, a Studabaker, I think. Ironically I worked with him while he was pursuing his MBA at Tennessee Tech. Now that is my position at Tech -- advising, mentoring and helping students. Tony was one of the funniest...

I'm just a guy who knew Tony online through his love of British cars (MGs in particular). Tony and I frequented a couple of the same messageboards. I was very sorry to hear of Tony's accident and it came as quite a shock, as he seemed like a man very much full of life. I pray that his wife recovers from her injuries and his family can take some consolation that Tony was thought of very highly by a great number of people

I am a member of the SHS Class of 1965 and remember Tony well. I am so sorry for your loss. He lived his life to the fullest and touched the hearts of all his students. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have spent the last 4 years working with col. on his garage, house, car, and anything his mind would come up with.He taught me so many things. We spent so much time together talking and laughing about anything and everything.I thought of him as a nother grandfather and a great friend.I will greatly miss him. jeri contact me if you need help with any thing. your friend lukas barnette

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I am also a member of the class of '64 who has many great memories of Tony.
I fortunate to reconnect with him through his brother Delvin, while I was teaching at Starkville High School and was able to see him several times when he came home to visit his family.
As a retired teacher it is wonderful to see the many tributes to him from his students and parents.
We will all miss his friendship.

Mrs. Barnhill - Both my boys had the privilege of participating in JROTC at Buckhorn High with the Colonel. I know that, especially for Patrick ('03), JROTC was one of the highlights of his high school years. Colonel was a wonderful influence to a lot of young people and will be missed.

Waanda and Family,
I am deeply sadden by your loss. At times like this, our faith guides us through each day. May sweet memories replace the sadness in your heart.
