Not sure what to say?

Although I only met Bill a few times, I , like so many other area railroaders, felt like I knew him so much more closely because of the tremendous impact he has had in this area in the field of model railroading. Even though so many associate Bill with railroading it was the complete person he is that made him legendary. Those that knew him well will feel a huge loss but strangely enough I feel a huge loss because I did not have the opportunity to know him better than I did.

I met Bill many years ago at Rail Run. He was a talented and upbeat gentleman. He was always happy to help others. He shall be greatly missed.

To the Borrelli family:
I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Damon, though I did not know your father I know he was a great man through you. Just from things you have told me and because of the person you are. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Please stay strong my friend and take care of each other. Love you!

When I started to work in Mass. Bill was the first to welcome me aboard, offer his hand, and share his warmth. He was one-of-a-kind.

Betty and I join in your sorrow. Bill was a most gracious and enjoyable man. I knew him in railfan circles. Enjoyed one evening looking at his O gauge layout. Our prayers go with you.

A good friend. He is missed already
