Not sure what to say?

I often heard the name Tony Brower when I was growing up. My dad, Ducky Detweiler, played baseball with him in 1943 at New Cumberland. After my parents married in 1944, they continued to correspond with him and Vera through letters and Christmas cards. After dad passed away in 2013, Mom continued the annual card tradition until she passed in 2015. Tony's 2015 Christmas card was forwarded to me, and I wrote him a note. He responded with a wonderful letter. He had lasting memories of my...

I will miss Tony at the bowling alley.
Tony was a great bowling partner.
We will all miss him. He was a caring
man.

So sorry to hear of Tony's passing. I knew him from Perkins, he was one of my favorite customers. He would always ask for my section and he was just the sweetest person ever. I remember how much he loved his bowling and how happy it made him just to talk about it.. may your family find happiness in all the memories he left you to cherish.

Doug,

So sorry to hear about your father's passing. Unfortunately I'm out of town this weekend, but I wanted to be sure to express my sincere condolences to you and your family. May God bless Tony and welcome him into his arms forever.

Doug, sorry to read about your father. I met him earlier this year at Panos Restaurant. Seemed like a great guy and still getting around on his own at 100! My mom is 95 and confined to a bed at Saint Mary's Home.

Hope I have the right family here. I believe I went to grade school with you.

Denny Cooney, Saint Joseph School class of 1963.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Our sincere condolences to all of uncle Tony's family. His father, Everett , was our grandfather Bill Brower's younger brother. Tony grew up with my dad, Chuck Brower. They were the same age. I remember uncle Tony from the family reunions at Giles Grove in Millcreek, back in the 50s and 60s. Wanted you to know he is remembered fondly. Joanne Brower Robertson
