Anthony Glenn Bryant 1982-2021 Gastonia – Anthony Glenn Bryant, 39 went home to be with his Lord on October 14, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Gaston County on August 4, 1982, to Lorrie Rhyne Bryant and the late Tony Van Bryant. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Marvin Van Bryant. Anthony worked as a receiving clerk with Dole Fresh Vegetables. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and uncle. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving mother, Lorrie R. Bryant; his grandparents, Doris "Duck" Harrell Bryant, and Reverend Bobby and Margaret "Connie" Haney; sister, Dawn B. Rimmer, brother-in-law, Joe Rimmer and their children, Jacob, Kailey, Chase, and Tony; aunts and uncles, Kim (Kirk) Gaddy; Devra (Andy) Black; David (Debbie) Haney, Carolyn Hudson, and Todd (Nancy) Bryant; and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2021, at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 19th at Gaston Memorial Park, Trinity section with Reverend Bobby Haney officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Rimmer, Jacob Rimmer, Chase Rimmer, Tony Rimmer, Andy Black and Josh Black. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, if you feel the need to stay home, a card or phone call to the family will be appreciated.
