Anthony Emilio Burgos

Anthony Emilio Burgos, 59, passed away on January 9, 2026. He was born on February 13, 1966, in San Francisco, California, to Mildred and Emilio Burgos Colon. Anthony spent much of his life working on a deep-sea fishing boat in Alaska as a fisherman and Strong Hand, a profession that reflected his love for the ocean and strong work ethic. Tony was a simple man with a huge heart for people and a silly personality at times and would help anyone no matter what it cost him. Tony also had a heart for dogs especially his dog July which he loved dearly. He was a newly devoted Christian and a member of New Seasons Community Church, where he found fellowship, purpose, strong faith and community. He is survived by his children, Joshua Burgos Merez and Lori Burgos Ayala, and Grandchildren and by his sister Rebecca Jimenez, Brother in-law Ray Jimenez and Father Emilio Burgos Colon He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Delby and his siblings Avery Burgos and Lori Burgos. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 31, 2026 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E Boutz Road. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. and the Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 A.M.
