It was a pleasure meeting Tony in 1980, his son Graham and daughter, Beth when they were young children.

He loved sailing and owned a beautiful sail boat , El Passant in Santa Cruz Harbor. We met before I left to study Archeology in Italy towards my B.S.Degree. I just recently ran into one of Dr. Calciano's assistance and was told the sad news of Dr. Calciano's passing. He was a wonderful man and doctor. I have missed him since he retired and will think of him with great fondness forever. I really appreciated all the care he gave me and many friends I know who had him as a heart doctor. Dear Linda and the family, Just a note of the respect I had for Tony, not only as a friend but as the Heart Doc. Let's just leave it at I was lucky, and Tony was too. When we crossed serious paths, (in the Aptos Hills) during the late 1990's when I was on Sheriff's patrol during the day in Aptos. R.I.P. Tony! Love ya! And will miss you.
