I am so sad to discover that Tony Caronia has died. I knew Tony and Margaret very well for several years and took great delight in his warm and generous personality. I was based in EMI Classics in London as Chief Producer but came to the US frequently to record in New York with such artists as Itzhak Perlman, Placido Domingo and in Philadelphia with Wolfgang Sawallisch.
