Charles P. Arcaro Funeral Home - Wilmington Obituary

Anthony Causi, age 43 of Wilmington, tragically passed away on February 10, 2023.

Anthony was a pillar in the restaurant community; where he partnered with dear friends Alex Spennato at Sitaly to Go and Dominick Marroni at Union Street Pub. He was a talented chef, specializing in Italian cuisine with a dedicated following.

Anthony loved sporting events, and was a fierce fan of Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. He instilled his love and passion for sports in his son Jon Anthony. Together they shared many happy memories watching and also attending such events.

Anthony was a giving and generous family man and friend, he was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He had a great smile and a contagious laugh that made him the life of the party. He will be deeply missed.

Anthony is survived by his mother Nancy Kirby (Joe); son Jon Anthony Causi; sister Pamela Baldini (Nick III); and nephews Nicholas IV, Milo, and Bruno. He’s also survived by father Salvatore Causi (Maria “LuLu”) and half brother Vinny Causi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, February 17, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 901 N. DuPont St. Wilmington DE 19805.  A viewing will begin at 10am.

I am so devastated to hear this news!!!! I didn't even know him personally but I'm in tears!! I work on Marsh Road and order from them for my job just about every week and he was always so welcoming, helpful and pleasant to me. He always had that same smile on his face I see in his obituary pic. He should have been able to live a longer life and spread more of his great energy on this earth!!! Peace and blessings to his family.

I have no words to express how sad we were to hear your son's passing. May your heart heal and the Causi family find peace.

Rest in Power, a Soldier for the Lord.
