My thoughts and prayers are with Katie and the family. Mr. Contini (and Donna), as I knew him growing up, was a dear family friend. We not only both lived in Aurora Shores (The "Shores") but he was one of my dad, Joe's, cherished friends...he was one of the three Italian amigos.
I am reminded by a memory of when we were in Little Italy at the Feast of the Assumption with crowds of people and my dad Joe spots Tony in the crowd and yells "Tony" to try and get his attention...many...
