Anthony Renee Crafton, age 55 of Ridge, Maryland departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 30, 2020. God whispered softly, my child come to me, I see you're tired, I see your pain and suffering. With loving family, and some friends at your side, we saw you take your last breathe. Anthony was born in Leonardtown, MD on July 7, 1964 to the late Agnes Ann and Theodore W. Crafton, Sr., whom both has preceded him in death. Anthony graduated from Great Mills High School in 1982. He was baptized in the Catholic faith, where he was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, St. Inigoes, MD.

Anthony was affectionally called by many names - Tony, Ant, Baby Dump, Bobby Brown, 11-11 & The "Pyro". He had an affectionate smile, always a big jokester and very kind hearted, but yet had his own style and his own way of doing what he chose to do! In other words; "He did it his way". Like it or not...that's just how he rolled! Anthony loved his family, the family gatherings, absolutely loved to dance, stomping in his boots, playing the harmonica, and beat bopping. He was known to start and end any party on the dance floor. Anthony worked various jobs such as construction, concrete layer, custodial worker and a grounds keeper until his health began to fail him. At a very early age, after the tricycle training wheels were taken off, Anthony had a great love and compassion for mini bikes, dirt bikes, motorcycles and mopeds.

Anthony leaves to cherish in memories one sister, Delora A. Crafton-Chase (Michael); four brothers, Waverly L. Crafton Sr, Theodore W. Crafton, Jr. (Alicia), Gregory L. Crafton (Sonja), Kirk T. Crafton (Lisa); nieces, Denisha L. LaFleur (Joseph), Asia N. Crafton, Keasha Crafton and Rhonda R. Crafton; nephews, Waverly L. Crafton, Jr., and Theodore W. Crafton III; two great nephews, Jace J. Davis and Kobi A. Crafton, in addition to four aunts, Mary Carroll, Mary A. Birdine, Charlene Ferrell (Hayes), and Vernell Price (Lester); Godmother, Ms. Evelyn Hewlett and a host of loving cousins and great long-time friends. Special thanks to Anna Hoyer (neighbor) for always being that guardian angel! Much love and blessings to these wonderful women in our community; Ms. Loretta Dove, Ms. Cecily Smith and Ms. Catherine Dove, whom dearly loved Anthony!

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes Ann and Theodore W. Crafton, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Nellie Ann and Albert E. Butler, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Kathleen and Calip White; aunts, Pearl H. Turner, Doris V. Miller and uncles, Albert E. Butler, Jr. and James M. Butler, Sr. Officiating the funeral services will be Rev. Scott Woods, St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
