Gramps,
I never met my grandparents. I had to wait until I married your grandaughter Doreen to experience the love of a grandfather. You shared so many memories of your family growing up together- all the fun and laughter. I never told you how much I wish I had a gramps like you when I was growing up. I hope you felt it though. I feel so cheated that we only got to spend about 5 or 6 years together.I don't understand how life works sometimes. I will truly miss watching those Yankee games...
