Not sure what to say?

Hey Uncle Tony, Well I made it to 80. Everyone was here which made me happier than you could know. I hope you stopped by and watched over us. It was AJ's birthday, Nicks, mine and Airella's so it was lots of fun. If you did you saw how big my grandchildren are getting. After I took down all the Christmas decorations I was putting the family pictures up again. There is one with my dad, you and me. I was probably about 10 and you were probably in your mid 20's (wearing your "Dego T") it...

HI Uncle Tony, Just wanted to stop by and wish you a Merry Christmas but I guess you're a little closer to the celebration up there than we are. It's going to be pretty quiet today. The boys have other plans and we're going to have our Christmas in a couple of weeks on my actual 80th birthday. Nick and his family just got back from Mexico visiting Selina's family out there. I met her parents and some of her brothers and sisters when they came out here. They are the nicest people. I don't...

Hey Uncle Tony, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 93? Thats OK I'm right behind you mine is in three weeks. I meant to ask you do you have to have a Heavenly Angel Food Cake with Vanilla Bean Creme Anglaise Frosting or can you have a Devil's Food Cake with Chocolate Fudge Buttercream Frosting? In any case a cake is a cake so enjoy it. Nothing has changed in the last couple of weeks except that this week I'm working 6 days which is double what I should be working. Hello Christmas in retail. I won't keep...

Hey Uncle Tony, Tomorrow it will be 14 years. I still remember when I got the call that you decided you were leaving and we didn't need to talk any more. I don't even remember who called me, all I remember was that I couldn't believe it, actually I didn't want to believe it. For a very long time it was difficult for me to accept it. Well, this one blew up in your face because I still talk to you and unfortunately you have to listen to me. Everything is still the same, still working,...

Wow Tony..... it's been 14 years since you've been on "the other side"... Amazing!! All's well with me... still working on my golf game.... trying hard on par 5's to avoid fairway bunkers on my 2nd shot!!! When we get there, you'll have to find a 4th..., you, me and JoJo.....

Hi Joey!! Saw your post to Tony. Hard to believe he's been gone 14 years. Whatta guy!!! I was never with him and had a bad time. As a Yankee fan, you would enjoy a book, The Summer of 49. It's about the pennant race between the Yankees and the Red Sox. Ir's one of my favorites and brings back a lot of memories of the players and baseball at that time. Hey... your almost 80??? I'm 87 and still riding a bike... as they say, "don't let the old man in!!" Take care and i'm think'n that...

Uncle Tony, It's been a while nothing really changed. As I get older I find out about more illiness you can get when you age. According to my doctor if I went on HIS recommended diet I would be eating cardboard and paper and he would probably complain that there was glue on the cardboard. After almost 80 years I don't think I will change now. On the lighter side the Yankees are in the post season for the 8th time in the last 9 seasons. And guess who their playing? Boston, who else. ...

Hey Tony, whatcha do'n this afternoon??? That's what you would say to me when you stuck your head with that mischievous smile. And I'd say O.K. and we'd take off for Woodridge Golf Club and play 18.... never 9. Oh, those were the days!!!! I saw that Bob Pascente lives here in Naples, not too far from me. Although he and I were good friends, I never had the closeness I shared with you, so I haven't contacted him. But now maybe I will, as he'd be sure to come up with some "Tony-Stories"...

Hey Uncle Tony, It's been a while since we talked, sorry about that. Been having more and more medical issues but I guess as we get older that's what happens. Now I have limited mobility in my right arm. Not many other things have changed, which might be a good thing. Still working my part time job, still trying to walk every day but it's getting harder. I don't walk as far as I used to but still try. I'm happy spring is finally here these old bones need to thaw out. On the brighter...
