Anthony was born on June 30, 1929 and passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019. Dr. Duva was a magna cum laude graduate of Providence College and the University of Bologna Medical School. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday, September 12th at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be private . VISITING HOURS are THURSDAY MORNING from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice in memory of Dr. Anthony D. Duva.

I first met Doc while a patient at St Josephs Hospital at age 16 when I suffered an hockey injury and Doc was a physician there. he visited me, talked hockey listened to games on the radio and this was the beginning of our long lasting genuine friendship.
Our families enjoyed skiing in Maine during Christmas Vacation, skating at the ring where Doc helped others in skating drills, sailing on Narragansett bay and at time just spending time together. Doc was always there for me and my...
