I heard about your mother's death through JoAnne, I think. Then just today I saw this on Facebook. I hope that you and your family are finding strength and comfort in each other and in the caring words and thoughts of friends. It was good to learn a little about your mother through the piece in the Free Press, because I never met her. Knowing you and your feelings for her, helps me see how special she was. I will call you and hope to see you soon.

Strength, courage, and peace to you and your family, Kate. Didn't know your Mom, but she sure had a full life and it sounds like she was able to share the best of herself with many others. Who could ask for more?
