Anthony F. Fiorot, 88, of Pen Argyl, passed away, Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Slate Belt Nursing and Rehab Center, Bangor.   He was the husband of Anna L. (Dotta) Fiorot, they celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary, August 19, 2019.


Born in Pen Argyl, June 26, 1931, he was the son of the late Frank and Angela (Uliana) Fiorot.


Prior to retiring, he was employed as an Ironworker and he served his country in the US Airforce as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War.


Tony was a member of St. Elizabeth Hungary Parish, Pen Argyl and the former St. Roch’s Church, West Bangor.


In addition to his wife Anna, he is survived by nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by four sisters, Santina Uliana, Armenia Catino, Lena Poloni and Rose Sullivan and two brothers, Peter and Aldo Fiorot.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 12 PM at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, 300 W. Babbitt Avenue, Pen Argyl.  There will be a viewing beginning at 11 AM until time of services at the church.  Interment will be in St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery, Pen Argyl.  The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC. www.ruggierofuneralhome.com, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangements.


Memorial donations may be offered to St. Elizabeth’s Building Fund, 300 W. Babbitt Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA 18072 or Immaculate Conception School, 290 W. Babbitt Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA 18072.
