Not sure what to say?

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. This world has lost an amazing man and we are all so saddened to learn of Doctor Garruto's passing. He was not only our physician, he was a beloved friend. On behalf of our family, please accept our sincerest sympathy and find solace in knowing just how many lives he so positively touched and how many of us will miss him dearly. With love and prayers, Kimberly Newins (Georgette's oldest daughter). He was one of my most favorite people in...

Dr. Garruto was my family physician when I moved
to Hazlet in 1968. He was a wonderful doctor and
a very fine person. I still go to the physicians that
were at his practice after his retirement.
Sincere Sympathy to Mrs. Garruto and the family.

Philomena Martinet

I want to offer my condolences to the entire Garruto family.

I remember Dr. G. fondly as the "friendly" doctor who took over for Dr. Poppick. My mom wouldn't consider any other doctor for us.

Dr. G. was always reassuring and kind to me as a kid and again when I was gravely ill as a young adult. He was reassuring even though my prognosis was wasn't clear and he helped me believe I would get better.

I'm certain my experience was just one of thousands...

Dr. Garruto was my pediatrician growing up and he always made me feel comfortable. Every time I drive past his old office on Hazlet Avenue I remember him.

Whether it was over the phone speaking with Dr. Garruto, or when he came into our office, he always made me smile. I will always remember his smile and his kind words. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Garruto and his family. He will truly be missed.
