Mr. Gasparo was my 5th grade teacher about 50 years ago. He was my favorite teacher EVER! His enthusiasm for teaching was contagious and we thrived in his class. Whenever asked who my favorite teacher was I always respond with his name. I am saddened to learn of his passing but he will live on in the hearts of all he taught.

I remember Mr. Gasparo as the teacher both of my sons had in grammar school & both talked about how great he was. When I told them of his passing my younger son said "He is the only teacher I ever remember from school who made a difference" His older brother added "Yes very true. Best teacher I ever had" His being here made a difference in this world to so many. God Bless him & his family Susanne Howell

Mr. Gasparo will always be thought of with great fondness and love by so many whose lives he touched over the years. He truly loved to teach us and made us feel special and unique in ways no one else could. For his passing to invoke such profound sorrow from so many, I can only imagine how difficult it must be for his family. I pray for peace for them and take solace in the fact that Mr. G made me a better person, parent, and grand parent.

Mr. Gasparo was my fifth grade teacher almost 45 years ago. To this day I remember him as one of the best. To this day I clearly remember the giant wall paintings we did and the jumbles he has us do (which I was never good at). I can picture myself in his classroom with the fondest of memories. I'm saddened to learn of his long term illness and his passing. May he rest in peace.
