Growing up, you were always the best part of Sundays. Your stories, your lessons, your generosity Ive never met your rival; no priest has ever lived up.

And then you were kind enough to marry my wife and I. It wasnt your parish, and everyone spoke Polish. You brought life to the ceremony; Ill never forget you loudly proclaiming that the Holy Spirit was present when a confused bird interrupted your homily.

Thank you for all the beautiful memories growing up together in Dongan Hills.
You were my older brother, my friend, my confidant, and my protector.
As we grew up and went our separate ways, there was always a thread that kept us connected.
That thread was the love we shared as close family.
I look forward to the day when we will meet again at the great table of celebration in heaven.
