Not sure what to say?

I know I speak for many of Tony´s college classmates from the class of 1973 and especially the Reunion Committee when I say we miss his wit, creativity and fun insights. We salute Vita and honor his memory!!!

Such a beautiful man. I miss him as I know Vita misses him. He diedd way too soon.

Love you much cuz! Our parting words over the years. Miss you much cuz! My new parting words. Peggy Brooke Amos

One of the most stylish and incisive wordsmiths I've ever read. I greatly admired his mother, Adelaide, who I also knew personally. Both represented the great strain of achievement in the history of African-American people. Well done, Tony Lee A. Daniels Harvard College '71 Harvard Crimson '71

I remember Tony as a quiet and sensitive person (despite the boxing) and he will always hold a special place in my memory. My deepest...

Tony was a dear colleague both at the Real Paper and WGBH. He was an immensely talented journalist with a big heart, a wry sense of humor and a passion for uncovering injustice. I´m saddened at this untimely departure but blessed that I was able to see him a few months ago at a Ten O´Clock News reunion.

Tony and his mother, Dr. Adelaide Cromwell, were very dear friends and we miss them. From the family of Laura B. Morris

What an extraordinary life and person! I was privileged to work with Tony during his period of reporting for WGBH's Ten O'Clock New. The public knew his work, which represented only a portion of Tony in full. A deeply engaging story teller and conversationalist. Always on a quest. Always seeking and sharing the journey with others.

I will remember Tony as kind, sensitive and brilliant! A bright light whose presence and legacy will continue to shine in spaces hidden and buried. Thanks, Tony, for witness and inspiration! Walter Earl Fluker
