Anthony Lauria, his wife Pat, and children Tom and Chris were wonderful friends and neighbors. They lived close to us on Fourth Ave in Berea, OH. Just the kindest family to be around. I didn't know Professor Lauria as well as the children. One time my sister, Betsy, was asked to babysit those darling boys. She had to call my dad for assistance, as Tom and Chris left out the front door, then each ran around the house in a different direction. Our dad went over and caught on the young boys and...

Dr. Lauria was a great mentor and friend during my time at BW. Always happy to help and always showed true interest in my educational career. He was instrumental in having me earn outstanding senior as a continuing Ed student, and winning the academic scholarship that goes with it. So glad to hear that he lived a long life. He was a wonderful man and a tribute to the college. I know that he affected many, many lives in such a positive way. RIP Tony.
