Mr. Anthony Legier, Sr. (Big Anthony), a Longshoreman was born on September 11, 1942 and passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 in Baton Rouge, LA. Age 73. Son of the late Viola and Telespore Legier. Father of Tyrone P. Legier and the late Anthony Legier, Jr. Brother of the late Adolph Legier, Sr. and Eugenia A. Legier. Also survived by grandchildren, Anthony III, Anaees, Tyrone II, Torri, Terrilyn and Kristyn, great-grandchildren, Anera, Auvia and Anthony Legier IV and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastor, Officers and Members of New Hope Baptist Church-Baton Rouge, LA are invited to attend the Visitation on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Followed by Funeral Services on Monday, December 28, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church, 5856 Greenwell Springs Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70806 at 10:00 am. Visitation from 8:00 am until 10:00 am.
