Not sure what to say?

Once again, "Doc," we approach the anniversary (now 17 years!) of your leaving us to enter the joy of eternal life with God. While we rejoice that you rightly experience unimaginable peace and happiness in a magnificent, glorious world that no one can fully understand in our earthly lives, the sadness of your passing still remains with us, with an emptiness that can never be totally filled. We, your patients, always remember you for your medical expertise and your personal humanity to...

Dearest "Doc," as we approach the anniversary of your going home to God, we fondly remember your outstanding service to us as a physician and friend, but also as a beautiful and charitable human being. You performed your duties well during your earthly life, and we are confident that you continue to serve as a valuable intercessor and protector now to your beloved family and all those whom you loved in this life from your celestial home. We know how proud you are of your family as they...

Dearest "Doc," today marks 15 years that you entered eternal life and our heartbreak at missing you began. Your beloved wife and family, as well as all of us patients, miss you as strongly as we did that sad day 15 years ago. You are unique, Doc, and there will never be another physician or friend like you. Though, in your kindness and humility, you never acted this way. We trust that you are now enjoying the Father's Magnificent Kingdom after the fruits of your "physician" labors over so...

Dear “Doc,” we, once again, approach the time when Our Lord called you home so many years ago. Yet, our feeling of loss continues to remain profound and deep, not only for your expertise as our family physician, but as a beautiful and kind human being and friend. We know how much your loved ones still feel your loss, although your presence remains strong in their lives. We know how proud you are of your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they all strive to successfully meet...

Approaching the 13th anniversary of dearest "Doc's" passing, my family and I still feel the pain and lack of not seeing him as his patients. "Doc" always made each patient feel like a family member, too, which makes the sadness of not seeing him even greater. What a humane and caring person Dr. Leone was! Doctors of his "mold" belong to a past generation of service for others. Still, as people of faith, we know that "Doc" is now enjoying the rewards for his lifetime of dedication and giving...

To My Dearest Husband, Anthony Girard,

Today marks four years that are extremely hard to define or describe. I think I have experienced all or most of the emotions possible and still cannot tell you how I feel or the many ways I have felt since you left me alone here on earth. I am in a state of limbo...I am happy for you, but sad for myself.

St. Mary's no longer has Saturday morning masses. I had a mass celebrated in your memory...

Dearest "Doc",

It will soon be four long years that we miss you as our physician and friend. We know that you reside in the loving embrace of God, in that celestial beauty and joy which none of us human beings can even comprehand. Please continue to protect and intercede for your loved ones who remain here on earth: Arlene, Ron, Mark, and their families, as well as ourselves. We all await that wonderful, happy day when we shall all be united again. Until then, know that we love...

My Dearest Anthony Girard,

Happy Valentine’s! Cara Mia Mine. My best valentine gift ever -- your devoted and everlasting love. It’s what keeps me going through both some pretty awful, as well as, decent days. You are the first one I think of in the morning and my last thoughts at night are of you and our overwhelming love for each other. You are the one I look to light my way and to steer me through this maze that is my life....
