Not sure what to say?

Tony gave me the opportunity to swim. When I came out for the team, I had not practiced for over 5 years, but Coach saw my desire and allowed me on the team. I will always have a special part of my heart for Coach. Thank you Coach!

Tony was a great guy who helped get my second career started. My deepest condolences to his family. He was a joy to know and be around. He will be missed. I am forever grateful to him and was blessed to have known him.

I want to to express my condolences to
Mr. Lisa's Family. I had the pleasure of being coached by Mr. Lisa from 1983 thru 1987 as part of Glassboro State Men's Swim Team. The 4 years that I swam for Tony were some of my the most memorable of my life. Besides coaching, Tony looked out for us as young men as well as guiding thru our four years of college. I want thank Mr. Lisa for his coaching, humor and mentorship during those years. I will miss you and thank you for being my college...

Tony was a great guy as well as a great coach. He coached my children at Greenwood Park and also coached my grandkids at Rowan. Our sympathy is with his family at this time. So sad. Joyce and Bill Harris

Dear Connie and family,

We all know Tony was a great swim coach but his contribution to the soccer teams was equally felt. As assistant coach Tony always kept the team loose with his great spirit and corny jokes. He also took many a bullet for Dan on the sidelines during games. Many of the past soccer players have been reminiscing old stories these past few days. Please know he will be greatly missed and even in his passing he has brought many together.

God Bless Tony and RIP!

My prayers for Tony's family.

Coach cared! He worked us hard, encouraged us even more, and always honored our efforts. Coach made swimming for then, Glassboro State College, a best memory experience for many of us.
For me personally, swimming for coach changed my life. When I first joined the team, I was swimming a 14 minute thousand meter, but coach kept me on the team - he was honoring my efforts and slowly his encouragement and hard workouts brought my times down far...

Dear Connie, Bryan, and Suzanne,

Colleen and I send our heart felt condolences to you and your family. Tony was not only my coach, but my mentor and friend for the past 41 years. In that time, I have witnessed his impact on people in all walks of life. I will always remember his genuine interest and guidance in my family and career. In all good things, he was The Godfather of Glassboro.

Sincerely, Walter

Met Tony trough Tri County Swimming; he was a gentleman, a classy person and respected by all who interacted with him including many from other clubs in the association. RIP Tony
