Donna, sorry to her about Tony's passing . My sincerest heartfelt condolences. He was the best and will always be remembered as one of the good guys from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Best regards, Jim Moro

Sincere condolences to Donna and the entire Lucki family. Fond memories of Tony as CEO Harcourt (Florida) in the 1990's.

Tony and I started out in the mid-1970s as young editors at Allyn & Bacon, a small textbook publisher in Boston before all the consolidation took place, and we knew each other very well. After a few years there, we both moved over to Houghton Mifflin. I left after some 20 years, but he stayed on, achieving great success. For all that, we stayed in touch and he always remained funny and smart and a great friend. I was very sad to hear of his death.

Donna, I'm so sorry to hear that Tony passed away. It's hard to believe. He was a wonderful leader who managed to make everyone feel confident that we could achieve our goals, and he always kept his lively sense of humor in the face of all odds. His optimism was one of his great qualities. Thinking of you and all the family, and wishing you well. Sincerely, Kathy
