Not sure what to say?

Babe, I only had the pleasure of being in your company a few times, but I loved you from the start. I only had to be in your presence a few moments to know what a wonderful gentleman, husband and father you were. You only had to walk into our dorm room and all your wonderful attributes would shine though. All of that was second only to the way Debbi glowed in the company of 'her Babe.' I loved her stories. Her devotion to you was clear testimony to the terrific Dad she had all through her...

The Babe and my dad, Dominick Russo were best of friends. Two old timers and life long residents of Fort Lee, they would sit around and chat for hours about everything from sports to politics. Babe was a regular in our house until my dad's death in January, 1979. I'll forget the last thing Babe said to me about my dad, "He was a good friend." Rest in peace.

Although I never met you, you certainly were a wonderful father to your daughter Debbi... she is a friend of mine from college, and I know how much she cared for you.
She will miss you very much...

"Did you ever know that you're my hero? You're everything I wish I could be...I can fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wings beneath my feet."

Fifty two years passes so quickly and I loved every moment with you.
So many memories to get me through not being able to see my "sweetheart" anymore. I know you will be by my side always - my angel helping me throughout the rest of my life.
I adored you from the moment you brought me into this world. Not a day goes by that I...

Dad,

I'm very lucky having you by my side for 58 years. It was so comforting to know you were always there for guidance. long discussions and good times. Having you as my Dad and role model was just incredible. The older I got the more I realiized what a great man you were. You were the poster boy for what society calls "The Greatest Generation".

With much love and respect.

Those we love and cherish are never too far away. I wish you and your family peace in knowing that dad will always be by your side. Be proud of the daughter you are, Deb. I can only imagine how proud he has been of you all these years. I wish I could be there to hug away your tears...

I wish I could be there for you now as you are always there for me. Your dad, I'm sure, was very proud of you for the person you became. You are a strong person with so much to offer the world. Without a doubt, I am certain you became what your dad was. Remember, you have true friends in this world who love and care about you.

You will be missed by all who knew you.

Farewell dear friend. You leave us with many wonderful memories of Thanksgivings in Fla. amongst them. By now we hope you have found your heavenly golf course and are teeing off with Jim and George on a course where everyone gets a hole in one. Dorothy & Richard Meredith
