It was with profound regret when I learned about Anthony Malaska's passing. I am deeply grieved. Anthony and I were boyhood friends and neighbors. He lived two doors down from me on East Garibaldi Avenue in the New Columbus section of Nesquehoning. We all knew him as "Gus." He was two years ahead of me in school.
