Not sure what to say?

I knew Tony at Marist in the 1970s. He was very proud of his father who was a stylist for Chrysler. Tony was always willing to pitch in when help was needed coaching various sports even if he was initially unfamiliar with those sports. He dedicated his life to education and influenced many lives.

What a blessing to have known Mr. Manfre. He was a great coach, teacher and person. My son looked up to him as a role model at Carmel. I am glad to know he has joined his wife in heaven. God Bless Mr. Manfre. His legacy lives on.

Mr.Manfre you will be missed! Thank You for all that you did!

Our prayers are with Mr. Manfre's family. I know that he touched our lives through his coaching and teaching, and he will be missed by us and the entire Carmel community.

Sorry to hear about Tony - he was a good storyteller.

Many might associate Tony with coaching football, but two of his greatest successes in athletics weren't on the gridiron, though.

He coached Andre Love at St. Joseph to an individual state championship in the high jump in track and Demond Rodez to a third-place at heavyweight in wrestling.

He will be greatly missed.

Mr Manfre was my husband's favorite teacher at Carmel. He will be missed.
