Anthony "Tony" Manna

Tony was such a special person. He first came into my family's circle of friends when he arrived to tune our piano in the mid-1960's. My pre-teen sister Becky (now Becky Rolph) was the family's star pianist. It was always an event to look forward to with pleasure, when Tony would come back for the next tuning appointment. He always gave his listeners viewpoints worth considering, no matter which topic might be discussed!

I think Tony was one of Erie's most beloved citizen's. One could not know meet Tony and not be immediately impressed and drawn to him. He was such an interesting, intellectual, caring person and to top it all off he had the most wonderful sense of humor. Tony tuned my pianos several times over the years from the time I was a little girl. When I was looking for a nice sounding upright Tony told me, "I'll keep 'an eye' out for one for you" and he did.
