Rest in Peace Tony. RHS Class of 73. Joe Duffy

I´ve know Tony since 1st grade at the old Lincoln school. He was a friends friend. I will keep Tony and Denice in my thoughts and prayers for a long time to come. RIP buddy. I´m sure we´ll share that classroom once again. Revere just won´t be the same without you. Godspeed, Lou Buonadonna

Tony Mattera was a mentor to me as a teacher, a father and a friend. My dad was a great judge of character and he loved Tony. Tony made an engraved wooden name plate for my dad he kept it in his office until he retired. It now sits in my room as a reminder of my dad and now a reminder of Tony. Thank you for all you have done for others, Rest in Peace.

I was fortunate enough 55 years ago to be placed on the same Babe Ruth team ( Colts) with Tony. That was the start of a great friendship that lasted and will always continue in my heart and everyone else´s heart who was lucky enough to call him a friend. He was so special to so many people. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and was always happiest when helping others. I am so lucky and blessed to have spent great times with him and his whole family. Myself and so many others will miss him...

The Mattera family was always good to my father, and Tony was no different. He enjoyed my father's company and I thought he was a fine human being like his other two brothers. My condolences to the Mattera family.

Tony was a no nonsense, hard working man, who loved his family and friends and his city, He was good to everyone and everyone that knows him loved him! my heart goes out to Denise and his loving family.

Dear Mark and family, I am so very sorry about your loss. I knew Tony when he worked at the Paul Revere School. He was always a gentleman and kind person

Tony was a friend and colleague of mine for over 40 years! A talented carpenter, Tony did a lot of work for me, and many others in the area! His work was impeccable and always reasonable! He built a treehouse for my son 25 years ago and it still stands today! I never heard Tony complain about his illness! He was a man´s man who accepted his fate! He will be missed by many, especially his family! RIP Tony God Bless Love you man! Peter DiGiulio
