It is always puzzling and heartbreaking to have someone pass away at a young age. Anthony/AJ was only 55, and had great potential ahead of him. His work benefited many organizations and the people they served. I am sorry to lose a good friend. I pray for the comfort of his brothers Kevin and Joe and their families, as well as his friends across the country.

Anthony was the first development officer for me as the new Dean of Nursing at MUSC. He was a new grad of the C of C ,charming and very professional. I was pleased when he left to go to Vanderbilt as I knew he was a natural and would have a great career in development. I often thought of him as I went on to other universities. He will be missed.
