Tomorrow would have been your birthday. We were only a day apart. I remember one year you gave me a necklace with a cross on it. It was the first time a boy had ever given me jewelry and thought it was such a big deal. I still have it. I miss you. I'll see you later, dear friend.

I keep a red heart with an A on my palm as a reminder of you, you were strong and funny and had time to dance for us in the hospital which was fun. You were inspiration to everyone and you are greatly missed, but you fulfilled your...
