I remember playing pinochole with the old timers. Tony was impressed that as young as I was, I knew how to play. Miss him and our fellow brothers and sisters.

Everyone who knew my dad always had something good to say about him. Everywhere we went he always saw someone he knew. He was truly one in a million. He was a character you couldn't ignore or forget. He was intense, boisterous, opinionated, but was also lighthearted, funny, and caring. He would laugh at himself once you made him realize how intent he was about his point of view. He would give anyone the shirt off his back and the first to offer a helping hand. He was extremely loyal to...

Marge my condolences, he was a great man. I just found out talking to one of the officers I ran into. My daughter cried and said all the wonderful times she remembered at the shore. Great memories our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Laura and Jim, Bryan and Rosie Price

Dad, thank you for being such a great dad. One of the things I remember when I was growing up were the school ice skating parties and you would bring me and stay there and watch or skate with us the whole time. I also remember the black eye you gave me when we were roller skating together. I am thrilled that we took so many vacations together, to California, to Foxwoods, to Canada, to Florida, and had alot of laughs together with you and Mom. We had fun at the casinos and I am alot like you...

On behalf of the USS Samuel B. Roberts (DD823) Shipmates Association, "Pappy" will be sadly missed at our reunions. He always added a little something extra to our get togethers. Tony was a good man and a proud veteran. It was a pleasure to call him friend. I'll miss you "Pappy". Rest in peace good shipmate, I'll see you when I get there.

Dad, I'm so thankful that I was able to spend time with you. Some of my best memories are of things we did together. When I was little, you would flex your muscles and I would dangle from your arm. I remember thinking that I had the strongest and best-looking Dad ever. You would take extra time in the morning to drive me to school so that I wouldn't have to catch the bus. I loved watching action movies with you, and tear-jerkers, too, because we'd look at each other and start laughing at...

I never really new where the phrase...Uncle Cookie came from! For he was the cousin of my father! Everyone called him Uncle Cookie who loved him dearly. He and Aunt Marge shared fun times with my parents growing up. I love looking at the photos of fun trips and events they shared together. Uncle cookie for me growing up was sharp! He had a sense of humor like no other. Looked his best always and was cooler then cool. Our family will miss him greatly. He leaves behind a legacy of...
