I was saddened to learn that Tony had passed away. I grew up with Tony on South Street in Pottstown. His house was two doors west of ours. Ours was a tightly-knit group, there on South Street, nestled between the Reading Railroad and the Pennsy. South Street was our playground, It was a rowdy scene. Tony was the most mature of our group, all boys. There were only a couple of girls on the street, Tony's sister, Catherine being one of them. He was the eldest and gave the group some stability....
