Mystic — On Friday, December 5, 2025, Anthony James Price peacefully made his journey home to be with Jesus at the age of 33.
Anthony was born on April 7, 1992, in New London to Kenneth and Sally (Giglio-Dauda) Price.
Anthony was a unique, sweet, and caring soul who loved nature and all animals. He was a man of strong faith in Christ, deeply passionate about the Constitution, and known for his sharp intelligence. Anthony had a deep passion for music of all kinds and loved to sing. Anthony especially adored his beloved dog, Carter, who was his loyal companion and faithfully by his side.
He had the best jokes—always making his family, especially his children, burst into laughter with his silly dad jokes. His kids thought he was the funniest person in the world, and hearing their laughter was one of his greatest joys.
Anthony graduated from Fitch Senior High School in Groton in 2010, where he met his soulmate and true love, Samantha Roberts. They married in 2012 and shared a deep and devoted love built on friendship, respect, and unwavering support. Their bond was filled with laughter, understanding, and years of cherished memories.
Above all else, Anthony was a devoted and loving father to his three children—Ayden, Alaycia, and Emersyn—who were the center of his world. He was endlessly proud of them and found the greatest joy in making them laugh and simply being with them.
Besides his beloved wife Samantha and their children Ayden, Alaycia, and Emersyn, Anthony is survived by his parents, Ken and Sally Price of Mystic; his brothers Brandon and Christian Price, both of Mystic; his maternal grandmother Judith Dauda of Groton; his paternal grandmother Janet Price of Mystic; as well as great-aunts and uncles, many cousins, and countless friends.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 17th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a service beginning at 5:30 p.m., at Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames Street, Groton. Anthony would want everyone to come as they are. A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held immediately following the service at the Elks Lodge 2163, 700 Shennecossett Road, Groton for close friends and family. Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and casually.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an animal society in loving memory of Anthony.
