Anthony SANTONE Obituary
SANTONE, Anthony J. "Tony"
Anthony J. Santone, 88 of Wethersfield, died peacefully at the Salmon Brook Rehabilitation Center in Glastonbury, on Wednesday, (June 12, 2013). Tony was born on May 20, 1925, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Annuniziata) Santone. He is predeceased by his sisters, Angela Lerzo, Rose Holcomb, Antoinette Temple and Josephine McKenna. Before his retirement he was employed by the former Manchester Sand and Gravel as a truck driver. He was an avid fan of race car driving and traveled throughout the United States. He is survived by three nieces; Dorene Ewing of Middletown, Susan McKenna of Hudson, NH and Carol Jordan of Arlington, TX; one nephew, Michael McKenna of East Haven; as well as numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Interment prayers and burial will be held TODAY June 18 at 12 noon at St. Mary's Cemetery, (Section N), Burnside Ave., East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford this morning June 18 from 11-11:30 a.m. Anthony's family sends a sincere thank you to Mike, Kristin and Connor.
