Pitts Funeral Home of Aliquippa Obituary

Anthony Eric Sessoms 63, of Aliquippa, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his residence. Anthony was born in Aliquippa, PA., November 24, 1960, to the late Frank and Catherine Sessoms. He was a beloved son and brother. He was affectionately known as Sess or Tony.

Sess was a 1979 graduate of Aliquippa High School. He was member of drama club, choir and the singing group Good Harmony. As a teenager he worked at Vaters Hardware Store on Franklin Ave. He then went on to work at True Value Hardware, Housing Authority of Beaver County (VT), H.H. Robinson and lastly Centria Steel Corporations, with over 25 years of service before retirement. Sess loved entertaining, barbecuing and hosting his Labor Day cookout. He had a big smile and personality. The life of the party. He had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed participating in car shows in his vintage Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 442. He was an avid Steelers fan representing his team with his yellow motorcycle while riding as a member of the Buffalo Soldiers. You could always hear him coming down the street blasting music; maybe Michael Jackson, Prince or Foreigner.

Tony was a jack of all trades and a master of many. He would offer assistance to any project. He helped without hesitation. A very generous and giving human being. He never met a stranger and had a gift for gab.
