Not sure what to say?

Never forget playing street games and baseball at Tibbetts with "Peanuts." A great guy.

I just learned of Anthony's passing. He was a good friend and all around great guy. When he was with the Yonkers Board of Ed he was very helpful - making sure everything was OK with my two daughters when they were at school. I can still visualize him when he was very young when I hung out with his older brother - another great guy - Vin. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

Thank you for being an awesome mentor and role model to so many students at Scholastic Academy, especially to my son Luis Vargas.

Oh my gosh, I am so shocked to hear the very sad news. Lu I am so sorry. I met Tony and Lu back in the Parks and Rec days. They were so cute together. Lucille would always be getting up from the reception desk to go and tell Tony something. So cute together. Tony was such a great guy with a great smile.

One of the good guys.

One of he good guys!!!! RIP

The best coach my kids ever had......loved kids and encouraged sports and the importance of physical Activity. We were fortunate to know him at The Scholastic Academy. RIP Coach.

My condolences to the Speranza family. I met Coach when I was a student at the Scholastic Academy PS 18 more than 25 years ago. He was the most caring teacher at that school. Always standing outside to say hi and always remembering my name and my sisters name as well. He always made sure the students were ok and safe. His class was the one I looked most forward to attending throughout the day. You challenged us and were always so supportive. Thank you for always being such a caring...

Dearest Speranza Family-
We simply called him Coach. He worked with us at Scholastic Academy/School 18, and he was an absolute character. We were a true family there at that time, and he was the fiery, hilarious uncle. Always a fixture at our happy hours, laughing along with you and your latest teacher stories, always buying you a drink before you realized it had even happened. At school, when he wasn't busy running out the door collecting quarters at his laundromat during his lunch...
