I was very sorry to learn of Uncle Tony's passing. I'm friends with Rose Taverna (whose brother Angelo was a good friend of his) and she just informed me today. I didn't know him that well with the distance and even more so since gram passed and we lost touch. However, i do remember him being a kind man with a big smile, and that i liked him quite a bit. One memory i have was of him singing "my name is michael, i've got a nickel..." to my nephew on your visit to ny in the early 80's. I do...

Tony was one of a kind. He was one of my dad's best friends, a true gentlemen, and had a wicked sense of humor. He will be missed by many. My condolences and prayers are with his family.

I only met Tony a few times but that was enough to know what a great guy he was. He was a terrific friend to my Uncle John and Aunt Cathy. Very sorry for your loss. Kent Massey
