Livingston, Louisiana
A resident of Livingston passed away Thursday, March 03, 2016. He was a member of the Hungarian Settlement in Albany and at the age of 101 he was honored as the oldest member. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. He was a lifelong master mechanic and owned Sziber's Garage in Albany. Visitation on Monday, March 7, 2016 will resume at 9:00am. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow in New Red Oak Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Alton Sziber, Sr. and wife Patricia Morrison Sziber, and Malcom Watts, four grandchildren, Elizabeth Sziber Conrad and husband Charles Conrad, Sr., Alton Tony Sziber, Jr. and wife Michelle Thomas Sziber, J.C. Watts and wife Kay Chandler Watts and Shonia Watts Martin and husband Tony Martin, six great-grandchildren, Chris, Alex, Chuckie, Katie, Darren and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Sziber, his wife Pearl Wheat Sziber, two brothers, John and Frank Sziber, four sisters, Julia Sziber Helg, Rosie Sziber Jason, Betty Sziber Covington, and Mary Sziber.
