Not sure what to say?

Dear Joan, I just learned of Tony’s passing. Serving as his Deputy at Lejeune was one of the high points of my career. He was the finest example of an officer of Marines: gallant, honorable, tough when he had to be but always in love with his Marines. Thank you for sharing him with so many of us. I know that i am a better person for having known him and served under him. You and the family are in my prayers. LtCol Mike McCarty, USMC (Retired)

Joan, Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. Tony was an exceptional lawyer and a great leader. There are many Marine Corps lawyers who are better today because of Tony's influence. We served two combat tours together in Vietnam. Tony was seriously wounded and recovered thanks to your care. Then it was off to law school. May he RIP.

God's speed my brother!

So sorry for the passing of Tony. I'm here if you need anything. Sending my love to Joan, Kyle, Valerie and my cousins.

Joan,
Please accept my deepest condolences on Tony's passing. I continue to recall and appreciate your and his hospitality during my service at Camp Lejeune in the late "70s.
God Bless and keep you safe.

I was fortunate to serve with then LtCol Tokarz at the 1st Marine Brigade at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe in the early 1980s. He had a great sense of humor and was an honorable man whose word could be trusted. LtCol Kip Naugle USMC Ret.

Tony was one of the truly good guys. We worked together in Washington and formed a close friendship. His passing comes as a great shock. He will definitely be missed by his family and friends. Joan, you will be in our prayers. Please accept our sincere condolences.

He was my cousin and I last saw him at his sister's memorial. We will be praying for the family. He was loved I am sure.
