Anthony Alan Tomblin Sr., age 52, of Osawatomie, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at KU Medical Center.

Tony was born on February 2, 1973, in Streeter, Illinois. He was the third of seven children born to William Tomblin and Laura Swindall. He spent his early years in Illinois before moving to Florida at the age of 15 in search of work. Eventually, he settled in Kansas, where he lived in the communities of Parker and Lane.

Tony was a devoted father to three children: Kasaundra, Anthony Jr., and Dillion. He worked hard throughout his life, first as a roofer and later as a Union Laborer.

Adventurous and skilled with his hands, Tony found joy in building things and riding ATVs. He was known for his generous spirit and kind heart—often going out of his way to help others. Many will remember how he would pay the tab for everyone at the Lane Bar, simply out of the goodness of his heart.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Laura Swindall, and his grandson, Anthony Alan Joe Tomblin.

Tony leaves behind his children: Kasaundra (Michael) LawRance of Olathe, Kansas; Anthony (Rachel) Tomblin Jr. of Kentucky; and Dillion Tomblin of Parker, Kansas; his grandchildren: Blake, Beau, and Adrianne LawRance, and Charli and Ella Tomblin. He is also survived by his dear friend Tiffany Taylor of Osawatomie, Kansas; his father William Tomblin of Indiana; and his siblings: Denise Frazier, Bernice Roberts, Trouble Wells, Jennifer Tomblin, Julie Tomblin, and Billie Pennington.

Tony will be remembered for his big heart, adventurous soul, and the love he shared with family, friends, and community.
