Tony was my first PP landscaping teacher. With charm and humor and a distinctive eye for beauty, his sensitivity was exhibited in his hand-drawn plans for client properties. Calming, accepting, and one of the idealists of a revered generation, his spirit will always be in his works.
Fondly, Susan and Mike

I was fortunate that I had the opportunity to first meet Tony at the Arboretum as a horticulture student. I was blessed years later to get to know him while working at Planters Palette. I learned much from Tony in those seven years and it wasn't all about plants. Tony had the most wonderful smile, sense of humor and was a terrific story teller a most wonderful man!!Stephanie Dalton

Tony was a wonderful mentor and friend. He taught me to see surprising beauty and inspired me to help others find joy in nature.

David and family: Sending prayers and my heartfelt condolences in the loss of your Father. May you find comfort in each other and cherish your lifetime of memories with your Father.

My very best to you and your family,
Cheryl Meyer-Williams

Tony added so much beauty to our world - and he taught so many of us to do the same, even on our little Lisle pieces of property. I remember when the Tyznik family lived at the Arboretum and then through the years as they started/developed The Planter's Palette into such a beautiful place for us to source our plantings and to get solid advice. - Jeanne Altendorf, a Lisle gal
